About Us.


We are an APA Sport and Exercise Physiotherapist and Fast Bowling Coaching with Cricket Australia Representative level accreditation. We specialise in fast bowling injuries and associated physiological, biomechanics and technical development. We approach the young fast bowler with a view to injury prevention but most importantly optimising their ability to bowl fast.

Using extensive technical and biomechanical video review with contemporary and advanced technologies we understand how bowlers get their speed and how they get injured. We combine that with Physio, physical assessments of strength, power, balance and movement to make sure your body is built for the way you bowl.

This also extends into power hitting to improve bat speed and hitting range when returning from injury or looking to improve a batters all round game. Power hitting is a necessary skill for the young fast bowler in the modern game.

Unfortunately we have seen many injuries over the years with bone stress fractures and bony bruising being the one that keeps most bowlers out. Other common presentations include side strains, thigh and calf muscle tears, ankle and knee injuries and shoulder / elbow stability issues. We have relationship with specialists and imagine centres to make sure you get priority care. We can also assist with Cricket Australia Sports insurance claims which will allow you to rest at ease with the financial burden of injury and focus on becoming better.

Our Fast Bowling Programs

  • Fundamentals Program

    Designed for U10s and above who are new to cricket, this program is the perfect entry point for budding players. In small groups (4-5 students), young athletes will learn the essential skills and build a strong foundation for future success. Watch your young cricketer blossom into a passionate and confident player, ready to take on the challenges of the game! areas that we cover are a Fun and Engaging Learning experience, Skill Development, Building Confidence, Building Teamwork.

  • Development Program

    This is a group (4-5 students in each group) development program helps young bowlers U11-U15 reach their full potential. It uses a structured, 4-phase approach that focuses on strength, speed, and bowling technique. Every 5 weeks, players are assessed in key areas like video analysis, bowling speed, and strength. Training then adapts to their individual needs, helping them build a strong foundation, develop explosive bowling speed, and refine their tactical skills – all in preparation for the upcoming season.

  • Youth Program

    Our Youth Performance is designed for the athlete transitioning into more specific bowling in the recent onset of adolescent stage (peak height velocity) of physical development or with low exposure to strength and gym-based work. There will still be a high-performance focus with advanced assessments and options for 1 or 2 days per week of supervised coaching and training. An independent S+C program will be provided on Teambuildr will be provided.

  • High Performance

    Our High Performance has all the bells and whistles and can be modified to be part of a bespoke program - access to independent gym use including specific tools for strength development (velocity based training and inertia based training + access for independent bowling drills. A completely customised program as per your needs and our recommendation. Can be customised for once per week with independent gym, bowling development and sprint program through to full access.

  • Remote Virtual Program (RVP)

    Our Remote Virtual Program (RVP) are meticulously crafted to address your specific needs and goals. Through a collaborative approach, we'll design a personalized program that unlocks your full potential and sets you on the path to success. These are remote programs, we currently support player in UK / India / Around Australia.

  • PaceLab Australia Fast Bowling Academy

    Launching PaceLab Australia in Partnership with Steffan Jones PaceLab and Power+Pace in Sydney. A Year round High Performance Program Design by PaceLab and delivered by Power+Pace in Sydney. To nurture and develop fast bowlers in Australia.

When injured, our focus is getting you not only back to where you were but bowling faster and with a more refined and sustainable action PLUS the tools to keep it that way. We understand what has led you to getting injured BUT also how you have developed your speed. We understand the stage of maturity and growth phases you go through and their impact on your ability to develop speed as well as their role in injury.

We cover all aspects of fast bowler development including sprint training / run-ups; developing lower limb stiffness and myofascial optimisation (based on your profile and style); technical skill based training methods for the phases of the action; fast bowler conditioning programs (includes bowling loads) and fast bowler core and strength programs. We set goals that are relevant to you and provide all the support that we can.

Our Facility              


We are located at Playpoint in Blacktown with two dedicated cricket pitches, which can be converted into one full-length match style pitch allowing a full run-up, the first of its kind in Australia. We also have a fully equipped physical therapy room with gym facilities and all the equipment you need to build strength and achieve faster bowling and more powerful hitting.
